Applied Economics Undergraduate Programs
Classroom Experience
We will report and continually update data collected through standard course evaluations. Applied Economics courses were taught as part of the combined curriculum of the former Department of Economics through Spring 2009. Teacher/Course Evaluations available here.
Core Course Assessment
APEC faculty have identified three core courses for which learning objectives have been developed (APEC 2010, APEC 3010, and APEC 3012). Progress made in achieving selected learning goals is assessed through pre- and post-tests in each course. The chart available at the right shows the students’ progress from pre-tests given at the beginning of the semester to the post-tests given at semester end for ECON 2010 when it was taught under the former Department of Economics by APEC faculty. APEC 3010 and 3012 will be taught for the first time in Fall 2009.
Survey Results
The College of Agriculture receives reports from the University Analysis, Assessment and Accreditation Office on a number of measures related to student satisfaction and placement. Copies of several of the complete reports are located on this page. The summaries are an executive summary of key measures from these university-generated reports.
Survey of Graduating Students
We will provide reports beginning with surveys of students graduating in 2010.
