A Cache Valley native, Ryan C. Bosworth received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Economics from Utah State University. Ryan completed a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Oregon in 2006. Ryan specializes in environmental economics and education economics. His research in environmental economics focuses on valuing the human health benefits of environmental policy. His research in education economics has focused on understanding how teachers respond to changes in class size and composition. After 4 years as an assistant professor at North Carolina State University’s School of Public and International Affairs, Ryan moved to Utah State in 2010. Ryan’s research has been supported by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency, Health Canada, and Resources for the Future.
Ryan’s hobbies include golf, tennis, chess, and autocross.
